Styles Popup in Text Editor is unresponsive and semi-transparent

Using Elementor and OceanWP on my site

When using the text editor widget, I try and select a section of text to add a link and the styles popup that shows Bold, Italic, Link, etc. is unresponsive and semi-transparent. I’ve tried other themes and it works just fine but I’m stubborn and don’t want to change themes because I like all the customization I can do with the OceanWP theme. I can change the page layout to “Elementor Canvas” and it works fine also, but the default page layout worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago. It seems like a simple settings issue between OceanWP theme and Elementor since it everything works fine with other themes. Any ideas?
