Styles not overriding defaults

I’m unsure if I’m just not using this plugin correctly or if there’s an actual issue…but for the life of me, I can’t get a new style kit to override the default style kit.

Very simply, I am editing the ‘single post template’ for individual blog posts. I selected a NEW style kit in which I want to edit the headings etc. In Elementor’s editor I see the changes reflected, however on the front end, no go. I am using the inspector and I see the headings are still taking orders from the default style kit, despite it NOT being the selected one.

So my question is…does Style kits NOT work when using the theme template builder?

I’ve tried clearing my cache, different browsers, regenerating the css files, saving the settings in Stylekits etc. NOTHING works.

Please advise.
