• WPForms is supposedly the best WP plugin for forms? I don’t know enough about all the plugins available to say whether that is true or not.

I do know that I installed it used it diving deeply into it. Even with the customized CSS and the extra documentation provided by WPForms, I could not do what I needed to do.

As with many plugins WPForms uses bait and switch to bet you to go from the free version to pay for the Pro/Premium version. I don’t begrudge them that. Every squirrel is looking for a nut, but I don’t make my living designing web pages. The free version should be functional enough for such a person to design a working website. For me the free version is inadequate to do that.

Using the Appearance/Customize/CSS worked for styling some things but was limited. For example the documentation showed me how to pad the text in the submit button, but didn’t show me how to add margin to move the button over. There were several things like that.

After wasting many hours trying to find special selectors for specials non-field items I came across Styler. WP is only as good as the set of plugins you have install and working together. Every new one I add takes quite a while to ‘master’ and almost always has limitations that make it inadequate.

Styler installed easily and did exactly what it said. IT was simple to use and intuitive. Within a few minutes I was making the changes I took many hours in WPForms trying unsuccessfully to do.

Thank you for this great tool.
