Styled List not being detected by Gutenberg Editor or Yoast

    Styled List is not being detected by Gutenberg Editor or Yoast Plugin. The content under styled list is being treated as blank? Will robots and SEO bots be able to crawl through content? While turning HTML view it shows blank. The visual editor shows Styled List content correctly.

    Hi @cryptve! We use a different method of rendering Gutenberg blocks. Nearly all of the core blocks, as well as many third-party blocks, use static blocks, which allow them to be edited in HTML view.

    However, we regularly update our blocks. With static blocks, part of the updating process requires ensuring reverse compatibility for all prior versions, which eventually becomes harder when more updates are made to the blocks. Using dynamic blocks allows us to be more flexible with making updates to the blocks.

    To robots and SEO bots, the difference between a static block and a dynamic version of said block is minimal. Other WordPress features and many third-party plugins would be mostly unable to detect the contents of dynamic blocks, though.
