style.css file not found

    I followed 5-minute installation guide. Then I tried to change my theme from GUI. But after I clicked upload, page went black. Then I checked error logs in cPanel. Error is as follows:

    File not found [/home3/example/public_html/404.shtml]
    File not found [/home3/example/public_html/css/style.css]

    Domain name is different of course. Then I deleted my db, created a new one, followed the instructions again, tried to change the theme again and the same result, same error. What to do next from here?

    Can you access the files via FTP?

    Hi mtyurt,

    1. Did the installation work before you tried to upload the theme?
    2. What theme?
    3. Have you checked the theme to make sure the ‘style.css’ is present?
    4. Also did you install this in subdirectory?
    5. Perhaps… did you setup the correct domain path in cPanel?
