I purchased the Style Weekly theme last week for https://metroatlanta.womenpartner.org. It works perfectly except that the images don’t show up on the front page. The site that I bought it from is still putting together its support forum, something they didn’t share before hand on their site.

I was directed to https://code.google.com/p/timthumb/issues/detail?id=363 but the suggestions didn’t work. If anyone has an idea on how I can quickly resolve the problem with Tim Thumb so I can invite the world to my site, I would really appreciate it.

That’s certainly a bummer and poor form for them to not support a commercial theme as promised. Unfortunately, commercial themes are not supported here — as they are not freely available for testing and use, etc. And it should be part of what you pay for.

As for the problem, Tim Thumb has a history of major security problems so many people advise avoiding it all together — see this thread for more details:

Seems like you might ask for a refund from the theme vendor, and perhaps find another theme that is supported and not saddled with iffy code from the start.

    Thanks!

Hi I was also thinking about purchasing the Style Weekly Theme from CloverThemes.com, however they seem really small and their support forum is not open. The owner, Chris Creed, said I can email him any support issues I have. My question is, if I buy this template and Clover Themes goes out of business can I still get support on my template from other resources, let’s say from WordPress? Do you know anything about CLover Themes or the owner?? Any help would be appreciated. I normally would not even consider the purchase, but I love this theme and can’t find anything that comes close to it.

We don’t support any product that is not distributed on www.remarpro.com, so no. Just because a theme is using WordPress (the core application) does not mean it has any affiliation with WordPress.

    Ok, got it, thank you.
