Style site after uploading with codekit

  • Hi,

    I have a more general questioin on how you guys update your site after you have uploaded the site to the server.. I’m useing codekit, mamp pro and filezilla to upload.. I have tried to edit the scss files after i have uploaded thei files but i doesn’t chance..

    There most be a good way of doing this, instead of delete the files from the server edit them local and then upload them again..

  • When you say “update” what are you trying to update? Posts? Pages? Theme?

    I’m gonna guess from this that you are trying to update the theme, presuming that you meant “CSS” and not “scss”. In which case you should use a child theme.

    BTW, you don’t need CodeKit if you are using WordPress.

    I meant if I want to change the css.. What do you mean with childtheme i know what it is but is it referring to something in the css?

    Lets say I want the menu to be displayed in block instead of inline-block. How do i do that?

    I using codekit because i like the features.
