    Hi,

I use the great custom message plugin to close the entire website.
My only problem is, that I would like to style the message, but in vain.

I tried to add some font-size and text-align, but no change. I also tried to add some span class, to fix the issue, but it doesn’t work.

(<span class=”c-ms”>This content is protected. Please login to view the protected content.</span>)

Based ont he inspector, these style elemnts are inline.

Can you please let me know, which exact css selector shold I use or how can I style this page?

    Thank you very much!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, have you tried using a similar code like the one below?

<div class="swpm-custom-expired-msg">Your account expired. This is a custom message that I can tweak with CSS too.</div>

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Yes, as I posted, I used this:
<span class=”c-ms”>This content is protected. Please login to view the protected content.</span>

Than I addd it also with div:
<div class=”c-ms”>This content is protected. Please login to view the protected content.</div>

Hi, when I click on the link above I see the message This content is protected. Please login to view the protected content. Is this what has to happen?

Have you also tried testing one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Twenty?

    Regards.

    Hi,

Yes, did you read my ticket? As I mentioned, I added exactly this message.
I just would like to add some nice style to this message.
The added css doesn’t work, independent on the theme.

Another question, that how can we hide also the sidebar of the page? I didn’ find any restriction option for sidebar or widget area.

It is a very large problem, because the full page protection doesn’t work for 404 pages. If I click on some invalid url, than I will see the 404 error message and also the sidebar, which should be also restricted.

Please be so kind and help to fix the issues.

    Thank you very much.

Hi, I checked your site and see that you have customized the message. Is this issue resolved?

    Regards.

    Hi,

No, I had to give up the original concept and setup the visible hehader + footer option. After this, the message became formattable.

The original message behavior is unchanged and it is not possible to setup any style elements (the css doesn’t load).

    Thank you.

    Hi,
No, it is only temporary solution.
We would like to close the entire website and the original message behavior is unchanged and it is not possible to setup any style elements (the css doesn’t load).
    Thank you.

Hi, the issue might be related to your theme or a plugin conflict. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue.

    Kind regards.
