Style just the asterisk * to be red in the label text

Hello ??
I need to style just the asterisk to be red in colour in the text before the field.
So it must read “Your name and surname” in grey and then a red asterisk to indicate that it is a required field in red.
How can one apply a style to just the asterisk, please? Is it possible to put a <span> tag around the asterisk to make it red with CSS?
