• I am using Astra theme and Elementor for customizing. I even added the @font-face property to my style.css file and also in the global site settings in Elementor in Custom CSS section. But the PageSpeed report is still the same.

I am fixing my site based on the recommendation from PageSpeed which says to use font-face:”Leverage the font-display CSS feature to ensure text is user-visible while web fonts are loading.”

What is the correct procedure to solve this?

  • Hi @djeah,

??Do you have any site URL we can check?
    ?
?And also, if you think this is a theme related, you can ?try to temporarily switch the theme to a default WordPress theme, e.g. Twenty-Twenty and see whether the same thing is happening or not.

    The site is:

    https://www.myheartontravel.com

Is there an alternative to do this without breaking the site? I am not eligible for a staging site as per my current plan.

    Hi @djeah,

You can refer to this doc to set up a staging site. Once you create the staging site, you can change the theme on the staging site without affecting your live site.
