style.css file missing

    I tried installing this theme by uploading the .zip file and got the following error:

    Installing theme from uploaded file: treepress.zip
    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    The package could not be installed.

      The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme installation failed.

    To follow up, i manually copied the styles.css file from the public/css file and put the copy on the root. I then got this error:

    Installing theme from uploaded file: treepress 3.zip
    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    The package could not be installed. The style.css stylesheet doesn’t contain a valid theme header.

    Theme installation failed.

    This is a plugin, not a theme.

    If you tried to install it as a theme, would would get the error message you report.

    Go to “Plugins” and “Add New” and it should install fine.
