Stuttering search function

    Hi Auto,

    Thanks for letting us know. I think the problem is that the search results update with each character that gets typed, instead of waiting a fraction of a second for more characters to be typed. We’ll see if we can update the function so that it pauses before returning the results to check if another character has been entered.

    No worries.

    Users typing a long search string will wait quite a while, before actually seeing their results, so a slight delay before commiting the filtering sounds like the way forward.

    Perhaps adding some sort of spinner/loader would mitigate the confusion.

    Anywho – looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with; thanks for your work so far ??
