• Hey,

I have a new site, and am stuck with a minor glitch regarding the scroll bar, it won’t scroll right to the very bottom and remain at the very bottom with the footer at the bottom. it always repels itself away from the bottom and thus gets into a stuttering up and down motion when scrolling down, which is really ugly.

    my site is: https://www.flextime.com.br

I hid Display Scroll-top Button in the options thinking it was this, but it still happens, although not on every page, and varies between chrome/ie/firefox. The pages with less content than the size of the right hand side panel seem to be worse: https://www.flextime.com.br/ingles

    The theme is Happenstance

    Any ideas?

I have looked at your site in four different browsers and cannot see the issue you have described. Could it be that you fixed the issue when you hid the scroll-top button but your browser had cached the page and was showing the old version?

Definately not a cache problem, as I was seeing the same problem on another machine yesterday, I have cleared my cache as well and still get the problem,
This page seems to suffer worse than others, maybe because the side bar is bigger than the main page area.

I can’t see the issue on that page right now – I had a quick look on a larger screen last night and I did see the stutter. It looks like a javascript / jQuery thing. Try deactivating all of your plugin to see whether the stuttering goes away. If so reactivate the plugins one by one until the issue reappears to determine which plugin caused it.

If it is not a plugin it will be caused by a script in your theme.
