    Hi Holmes.Sherlock,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Can you try the following steps and let me know how it goes?

    1. While on restoring database, leave it running for 15 minutes.
    2. After 15 minutes, open another tab and try to login to wp-admin with WP Admin username/password of the exported site
    3. Go to settings -> permalinks and save the permalink structure
    4. Go to All in one WP Migration – Export page and click on Turn Off Maintenance
At this point the website should be successfully migrated.

    Hello,

Can the plugin be made to pick the backup from hosting space itself instead of my local computer?

    Holmes.Sherlock,

Yes, if the file is uploaded to the backups folder via FTP.
Alternatively, you can use one of our extensions.

    Hi Holmes.Sherlock,

I have the same problem (stucks at Restoring Database).

I tried the steps that you mentioned above but when I want to login in WP-ADMIN with the username/password of the exported site, I get the following message: You don’t have enough permissions…

    Could you please help me?

    Hi Jose BC,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Are you using the latest version of the plugin?
If yes, can you please send us the email to support at servmask.com for further investigation?

    Hi Pim,

Yes. I am using the lastest version of the plugin.

I sent a more specific details to support at servmask.com.

I am having the same issue. I am not able to log in via an alternative tab. it says my password is invalid.

    Hi frankdinolfo,

In my case, the problem was solved using 3.3 version. Try it.

I am having the same issue. But when I wait 15 minutes and then open a new tab, I am prompted to continue with five-minute wordpress install… I am using the latest version of the plugin and the latest version of wordpress. Any help / suggestions is much appreciated. Thanks.

Will using the Dropbox extension alleviate the hassles of unzipping on the server? Mine keep failing, but don’t want to spend $79 if this isn’t likely to help. It had previously worked seamless for me, until today… and has failed on two sites.

    Currently I’m stuck on

Done retrieving a list of all WordPress files.

    update:
    +1 on using version 3.3…

Same problem using version 4.0, all files are uploaded but database is wiped clean and it hangs on restoring.

Having the same problem here too…. any update on this yet?

I have sent an email to servmask but no reply yet. I also get stuck on restoring database…
I tried all the steps Pim Jitsawang suggested but I can’t see a place for ‘click on Turn Off Maintenance’.

I go to my site that I have exported to and I get taken to the 5minute wordpress install page. I install, and I no longer have anything in my wordpress (I tried migrating my site by other means before and at least I got somewhere, just had a few broken links so I thought I would try this easy plugin…sadly too good to be true, now my wordpress is empty….)

Having the same issue with version 4.13 on WP version 4.3.1. I was able to login and save permalinks, but I do not see an option to turn off maintenance mode. There is only a checkbox that says “Put the site in maintenance mode while exporting”. I tried checking the box and unchecking it. The other tab still shows hanging on “restoring database”. The site appears to be ok. I’m a little hesitant to close the window that is hanging. I’m going to leave it for a few more minutes and then close it, if it’s still hanging. Been hanging for about 20 minutes now…

Incidentally, I love this plugin! Has worked perfectly for me up until this issue.

    Hi No Soul To Sell,

    Is your site under maintenance?
If you are able to login with username/password of your exported site and the site appears to be okay, you can close the tab with “Restoring database”.

I’ve also had this problem today on two separate sites. One was a job board site when upon upload it asked to run through the WP Job-Manager plugin first time setup after I logged into the imported site.
