Stuck on Text Mode

Also, I just deactivated the JetPack plugin, and now there are no javascript errors on my edit post page (BTW that’s the page I was on where the error listed above is from). The problem is, I still don’t have Visual Mode…

Do you have any other plugins that change visual editor?

You can try:

1. Deactivating all plugins.
2. Use a different browser/do a hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows. Chrome and Firefox)
3. Go to Dashboard → Updates, reinstall WP.

Please take a backup before you do any of these.

I tried all of those and none worked ??

Did you switch to default theme as well? That is only thing I think I missed here.

Just tried and no luck… went to a couple themes, none of which worked. It’s doing the same thing with a new page, too.

Ok. The last thing that I can think of is admin setting for text mode.

Users > Profile > Personal Settings — Visual Editor __Disable

If this doesn’t solve it, I can’t think of anything that I can do to help.
