Stuck on Scanning Site

    Hi,

    I’ve been using Duplicator for a while now and never had any issues but I’m trying to move a site and it’s just stuck scanning forever.

    I’ve done a search and downloaded the developer version (think it may be the same as the main version now) but still no luck. In the thread that suggested this version, it was said that WP being in French was causing the issue.

    This is interesting as I’m using WPML and have the default language set to Dutch. Could this be my issue?

    Any suggestions or help would be great.

  • I’ve found a work around for it, since I couldn’t check for which plugin was causing the conflict..

    Basically, after it finishes scanning, just replace the end of the URL duplicator&tab=new2 with duplicator&tab=new3.

    It will generate the package as it should.

    Thanks for that work-around. For these types of issues they are hard to isolate because in most cases they are related to either legacy code or plugin conflicts. For these particular issues it may be best to submit a support ticket as I would have to look at each one by one, with that said its a good idea to try and disable plugins if possible as they usually solves a good portion of items related to UI issues…

    I had the same symptoms.

    One of the wp-admin generated js files was corrupted. It took to reinstalls of the wp core to fix it.

    Leaving this here in case anyone else runs into this problem.
