stuck on “preparing to export”

    Hi there,
    I’m trying to export the website for the first time and it’s just stuck on “preparing to export” endlessly.
    What could be the problem?

    How large is your website?
    How much disk space do you have available on your server?

    Hi,
    thanks for the swift reply!
    I checked and the website is about 250 MB, and I have more than 1.5 GB of free space on the server, so that should not be the problem…
    any ideas?

    The plugin needs to have access to be able to function on your site.
    Can you check that you have set permissions on your wp-content directory to 775 recursively?

    thanks a lot!! it’s working! by the way, I didn’t need to set the while wp-content to 775. the plugin itself was enough…

    Hi,
    I’m importing but it was stuck at 52% (restoring database..)
    and the file is about 135MB.

    Please help.
