Stuck on Loading

I’m encountering the same error in multiple attempts with multiple images in both Firefox and Chrome (WP v5.5, Regenerate Thumbnails v3.1.3). FFox browser console showed no errors or warnings throughout the attempted regeneration process; here’s the Chrome console output:

Hey @mcstevem !

One of the issues that you see in your console is about the https. If you have an SSL/TLS certificate in your site, please try to access the wp-admin > Settings > General, and make sure the fields “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” starts with https://. If you don’t have a certificate, update both to start with https://. But I don’t think it’s the root cause of the problem.

There is an issue related to the wp variable from the WordPress that is not found. I’d recommend you to try temporarily deactivate other plugins and change your theme to another one, and test if it works. Maybe something is not still compatible with the WP 5.5, causing some issues with the scripts.

Thanks, @renathoc. I had spotted and fixed that mixed-content error a couple of weeks ago in relation to a different problem. Regenerating thumbnails now is working properly again, so looks like that was the culprit there as well.
