Stuck on Analyizing

  • I registered at the website, made sure my usernames are the same on the site as they are on my blog. Every time I enter a recipe it gets stuck “analyzing”. I’ve switched themes to Twenty Twelve since I saw that others were having issues with some themes. That still hasn’t worked. What am I missing??

    Hi Blogger,

    First of all, I’m sorry for the hassle of a login to our plugin which we know is not the regular behavior of wordpress plugins. However, in order to block spammers and allow multi-site users the benefits of using our plugin, it’s a requirement.

    If I’m guessing correctly according to your pseudonym, you registered via Facebook. I also saw a few login problems regarding this username in our log so it could be connected. Let’s try a simple re-login and see if it works:

    1) Go to https://www.kitchenbug.com. If you’re logged in you should arrive at the kitchenbug application.
    2) Click on the arrow next to your username and then click on ‘log out’.
    3) In your wordpress blog click on Ctrl+F5 (browser refresh) in order to verify that there are no old cookies.
    4) In a new post click on the Kitchenbug plugin, the login form should popup. Log into the application using the facebook button and you should be able to analyze a recipe.

    If this doesn’t work then please let me know.

    That worked perfectly! It took a few minutes after I logged out of the site for the Kitchenbug plugin to recognize it (I refreshed & emptied my browsers cache). Once it did though, it worked like a charm. What a great add-on!!
