    I see a couple of possible issues. I’d like to eliminate them before asking any of our developers any ideas. The first is that you have super cache installed./activated. I have seen some problems with that caching plug-in. Could you try deactivating it temporarily? I also see that you have wysija activated. It might be that I deactivate that one while testing send press just in case they conflict somehow. They may have something else called queue that is interfering with us added something to the queue.

    The other potential issues that you are running a very old version of MySQL. We don’t officially support it, but I do know many people are successfully using. But in general, I would strongly recommend upgrading to 5.5.
