Stuck in redirect loop

  • So I don’t remember the exact version, but it was the last version compatible with 3.9.6. I couldn’t upgrade any farther. When upgrading, I got stuck in an infinite redirect loop back and forth between HTTP and HTTPS protocols.

    I eventually fixed it by manually disabling it through the database, but I had to upgrade farther before re-enabling. It appears that the version I ran on 3.9.6 is incompatible with 4.2.2 and caused the loop, but I couldn’t actually update it until I got to 4.2.2, since there was no intermediate version that fixed the error that was compatible with both.
