Stuck in Preparing to Import

    Hi There,
    I need help ASAP!!!

    I’ve created a backup on Dec.4th of a website that no longer exists (wordpress 4.6.1). I’ve installed a new version of WordPress and deleted the previous site from its location after the backup was created). I need to migrate it to a new location but, when the file is imported (about 2GB), the process gets stuck on “Preparing to import…” I need to get this website up in the next 6 hours. I am desperate.

    Please help!

    I’m having the same issue. I think everyone is having the same issue here. On export it is showing that it was successfully imported.

    @oabranding – are you trying to import your backup on a WP 4.7 og WP 4.6.1 installation?

    Same issue , im trying to export Wp 4.7 site

    WordPress version 4.7 introduced a change in the WP_Hooks that is not compatible with version 5.55

    We are working on a hotfix right now to address this issue and will release a new version of the All in One WP Migration plugin in the next 30 minutes.

    Versions of WordPress had to be the same as well. It only worked after I downgraded to 4.6.
    After bringing the backup up, I upgraded the platform along with all plug-ins, created a new backup and reloaded it, just to make sure it would work. And it did.
