Stuck in html mode – works when refresh

Hi folks,

I know there’s been a whole bunch of posts troubleshooting the problem of the ‘visual mode’ editor not working, and being stuck in HTML mode. However, none have dealt with the issue I’m having.

The symptoms are the same.. the editor is stuck on HTML mode. However, the following is true in my circumstance:

* Only happens in IE6 (firefox is fine)
* Doesn’t occur on all machines installed with IE6
* Corrects itself when do a hard refresh (ctrl-shift-refresh). However, when you then click on ‘new post’ again it goes back to HTML mode (so I don’t think it’s purely a cache problem, as the error shouldn’t come back after the hard refresh)

I also get the following error from IE when the page is loading:

Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know how to fix the problem?

(The ‘workaround’ of a hard refresh is simple, but the users of the system will not necessarily be computer literate, thus I’d ideally like to fix the problem)
