Stuck in a redirect loop at login

  • Hello WordPress!

    I’ve recently installed WordPress 4.2 onto my VPS running Debian 8 (64bit, if that matters). Yesterday, I ran into an issue where when I try to login from my browser it’s redirecting to the login screen permanently! I have tired on multiple browsers with and without plugins, on multiple computers, and from my cellphone and no joy. I have reset my password to something simple so I KNOW my login details are good. Can anyone please help me troubleshoot this?

  • Do you have any plugin activated in your WordPress, if so try to deactivate that plugin and then try to login.

    To deactivate the plugin without login, simply rename those plugin folder from wp-content/plugin and those plugin will deactivated.

    I am having the same issue. Trying resetting the passwords through FTP and emergency.php. Renamed the plugins dir etc. – nothing is working.
