Stuck in 2012 theme, no content showing – WTH/ help please!

  • What happened?! I’ve been running a WP site for about a year, and suddenly it started showing the ‘Hello world’ screen from 2012 theme, and none of my content is reflected… my host says files are still extant, but not visible on dashboard or site.

    I updated all plugins and WP, after problem emerged, hoping that would fix… only other change made recently, pre-crash, was installation of Kebo-TwitterFeed plugin… please help, I am freaking out! That content represents a ton of work, and this ‘hello world!’ business is B******! >_<

    BTW, I’m using Pinboard theme, and none of my posts, pages, or comments are now visible from the dashboard. ??

    Login to the server and check database info in wp-config.php see if it’s corrected.

    Check the database see if it’s still there as usual.

    Talk to your web hosting, ask them to help restore the full backup from before the incident, in case the whole db is already gone.
