Stuck creating a job

    Hi!
    I tried to perform a backup today, but Backuply is stuck at 17% showing, “Initializing… Creating job to start Backup“

    I tried killing the process, tried dozens more times, but it didn’t work.

    What’s happening?

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    Would you please check Site Health and see if you find any Warning or recommendation related to Schedule, like schedule missed.

    You can find Site health in Tools in left navigation.

    Would you please tell if you were able to backup before?

    Hello,

    Just an update, the issue you were facing was that the process was getting stuck at 17%. We have changed the method how we were initiating backup in Backuply version 1.1.0

    The older method was that we would use WP-Cron and for some users, WP-Cron used to get stuck and won’t execute which was causing Backuply to get stuck too.

    So we changed that and now this issue won’t occur in and after Backuply version 1.0.0
