• I finally got most of the installation figured out, but when I try to run the install, I get the following message:

    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

I have triple-checked my hostname/username/password. I am using Blue Host so the username should be localhost, from what I have read.

Any clue what could be wrong? I am curious if I uploaded WP to the incorrect place in my File Manager…

Just finished your video tutorial, I have NO clue why I was having a problem before, because I thought I had the correct password, but changing things up worked.

Thank you so much, I will definitely be donating.
