    installing Google Site Kit. All went very well until activating the “analytics” module. I followed the steps to create the analytics account, been given an ID, so all looks set up. I go back into site kit, and click on “refetch my account”… but repeatedly getting message “Looks like you don’t have an Analytics account yet”… tried multiple times, even “trashed account” and started this all again. Been at this stage for half an hour now. Anyone else seen this, know a solution, know what I am talking about…. thank you!

    @entsal007 Thanks for opening a support topic. Can you inform me if everything looks fine when using the live report from within the Analytics web interface? If so please open a browser incognito window and attempt Site Kit Analytics module setup one more.

    If the issue persists please share your Site Health information and we can troubleshoot further.

    hi there James, I installed Google site kit earlier today.

    When I click on ANALYTICS it eventually comes back with the following:

    CONNECT SERVICE
    Analytics
    Looks like you don’t have an Analytics account yet. Once you create it, click on “Re-fetch my account” and Site Kit will locate it.
    Re-fetch My Account

    I set up “google analytics” just before this and was given a TRACKING-ID. The google analytics screen looks fine.

    the SEARCH CONSOLE module loaded effortlessly, no problems with that one

    also james in answer to your question regarding the live report from within the Analytics web interface? The page currently shows the following as it is brand new today:

    Google Analytics Home
    Users
    0

    Sessions
    0

    Bounce Rate
    0%

    Session Duration
    0m 00s

    @entsal007 Thanks for providing an update. It seems like you’ve setup your Analytics account correctly. Can you try the following and inform me if you’re able to proceed with Analytics setup?
    1. Reset Site Kit
    2. Open a browser incognito window
    3. Setup Site Kit once more, when requested please login to the same Google account you’ve used to setup Analytics
    4. Connect the Analytics module

    Let me know whether the above works for you.
