• I have updated WP to 4.5.2 and had my website up and running for a year but I now constantly get a “First Things First” page when I go to my website homepage (www.ceutiqus.com). Am I missing something?

try deleting readme.html from the root of your WordPress installation.

    Hi,

I sometimes get that screen if the table prefix is wrong.

In wp-config.php the default table prefix is wp_

If you’ve used a different prefix for your tables, then you’ll need to make the change in wp-config.php

Why don’t you have a look in phpmyadmin at the table prefixes? Wouldn’t do any harm to rule that out anyhow!

Thank you, but how do I perform these activities?

use FTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides

Thanks, I have now deleted readme.html from FTP, but still have the “First things first” page.

Can you check that there is an index.php file in the root folder of your domain?
