Stuck at Database Update Required page after manually updating to 5.2.1

    After all this time, I’ve finally tried manually updating to 5.2.1 since the automatic One-Click updates doesn’t work.

    Well, I followed all the instructions on how to update WordPress, but I’m stuck at Step 2 since clicking the Update WordPress Database button just takes me into a blank page.

    I was updating from 4.9.10.

    Can anyone help? I’m panicking a bit since I use a plugin for backups, and I can’t even access with this thing going on. Thanks.

    For now I’ll try to go back to the older version and then restoring the backup.
