Stuck after install

    It keeps getting stuck after the install at ‘Updating’. It said max 5 minutes, but after an hour or so, I stopped it by removing the plugin. I re-installed it, a few times by now, but every-time it’s stuck at ‘updating’… forever.

    This is after a brand new installation?

    Try opening the wp_options DB table and change the value of iawp_is_migrating to 0, and then revisit the Analytics menu.

    Thanks, that worked. perfect support.
    But isn’t that something the installer of the plugin should do? I mean, the slogan is ‘user-friendly’ and I never had to go in the database to get a plugin working. And it’s not really something I’m familiar with…

    Glad to hear it!

    It’s very unusual for the plugin to get stuck during a fresh installation, so this isn’t part of the normal process. This change to the DB basically forced it to continue where it got stuck.

    I wouldn’t anticipate this happening again, but if you do encounter the same bug, we can debug further and see if there’s something else going on.
