• I have a 3-column theme called Tiga and the footer is positioned directly under the post or page, in the middle column. Depending on the length of the text in the center column, the footer could be anywhere.

What I want to do is fix the position of the footer in relation to the sidebars, and if the centre text is, say only a couple of lines, then there the post/page automatically fills up the space in between. If the test of long and overflows, then either a “more” tag is automatically inserted, or a scroll bar appears on the actual post.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Yes, of course I searched. I have been searching for day. I did search but could not find the information I required. That is why I asked the question. And you link does not provide me with the answer to the first question “What I want to do is fix the position of the footer in relation to the sidebars”.

With the lack of information and lack of responses from this and other posts I have posted, I will assume it cannot be done.

Moderators mu always keep in mind that there is over 100,000 topics and searching does not always located relevant information.
