Usually I’m the one giving assistance to folks on these forums, but today I find myself at a loss.

Does anyone know of a way to hide the top of the category from appearing in the search results? I can’t seem to isolate a solution. Has anyone encountered this before?

I’m using a custom archive page template, but this also is the same with the WC template. No matter what I write or where I call to my custom menu portion that portion will display in the results below the archive description. Everything but the description appears again and actually interferes with the aJax search results. I’m not sure what I’m missing.

You can view the top and search results I’m getting here

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello @serafinnyc,

Please try in plugin setting -> Advanced tab enable option “Display products”.
Not sure is it help in your case, because it is not clear what issue your have and what must be displayed after filtering.

    Hello @serafinnyc,

Is it default WooCommerce page or it is custom page with WooCommerce shortcode or some page builder?

If it is default WooCommerce page, then is those categories displayed with help of option Customizing > WooCommerce >Product Catalog > Shop page display/Category display or it is some custom code?

Is this page has some products before filtering?

    Regards,
    Oleg

Nevermind Oleg. You clearly didn’t read what I posted.

    Hello @serafinnyc,

    I did read your question.

You didn’t explain there that you are showing product categories above the common products. All other description is not helping. Please next time add your site url. Without it it is hard to understand the issue you have.

Our products can filter categories same way by the products in them. So for us you show products 2 times.

You need to adjust your categories output. Check for the $_GET['filters']. If it is set don’t show categories.

    Regards,
    Dima

@dholovnia I did that in an email to you before I posted here. I explained in great detail. However, since writing you that email yesterday I had to revert it back to something else.

Please don’t act like I’m not explaining something correctly. I assist people daily and I know that’s expected.
