    Hi Keith Firmin,

There is not a video yet but you should do the followings step to get the timeline:

    Step 1: Download and Installation

    • Upload files to the directory / wp-content/plugins/wp-jquery-timelinr/
    • Activate the plugin “WP Timelinr JQuery” through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

Step 2: Add Timelinr categories (optional)

    • Select Categories on the menu of custom post type “Timelinr“
    • Write a name
    • Add new category

    Step 3: Add Timelinr entries

    • Create a new post in custom post type “Timelinr”
    • Add a title
    • Select a date
    • Add a featured image
    • Write a description
    • Submit the timelinr post

    Step 4: Add Timelinr shortcode

    • Create a new page
    • Add the shortcode in the description field
    • If you had created a category, the shortcode should be [timelinr category=YOURCATEGORY]
    • If you had not created a category, the shortcode should be [timelinr]

I hope you can enjoy our plugin. Please let us know where you could not continue.

Thanks for your help nsciolini, that’s good of you to take the time and educate someone who is new to WordPress.

And I’ve now managed to add a timelinr to my website!

The issue I’m now experiencing is that once I’ve placed the shortcode and the timeline is created with image, I can only see the image and content of one date. All the dates are included on the timeline but when I click on them, it doesn’t allow me to see what is on the chosen date.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

Did you update yours timelinr settings?? May be it is a style issue.

You should see the timeline like this: https://demos.broobe.com/

Please, send us the url of your page because probably you had installed a theme that is not compatible with timelinr.

    Thanks!
