Struggling to centralise blog post on web

The above is what my post page currently looks like. The title and featured image are centralised as I want but I am trying to amend it so the rest of the post is centralised in a similar manner. It works perfectly on mobile but can’t seem to amend on web version!

If you’re trying to constrain the content so it doesn’t span the entire width of the page, this has nothing to do with alignment. If you were to increase the length of your headline, you’d see it’ll also span the entire width of the page even though it’s centered.
What you need to do instead is to change the post’s layout to NOT be full-width. This is a theme feature, and you can configure a global setting in APPEARANCE => CUSTOMIZE => PAGE TEMPLATE SETTINGS => BLOG PAGE, or for individual posts under PAGE SETTINGS in the post editor.
