Structured Data Parsing Error for Long Event Descriptions

  • Hello,

    When entering a long description for the event, the structured data presents the following error: Parsing error: Missing ‘,’ or ‘}’.

    Upon checking the code, the closing tag “}” is missing at the end of the description.

    If I shorten the description, the tag is inserted correctly. How can I resolve this? Is there a way to modify the structured data description to include an excerpt of the description without including it in full?

    Hello,

    Please go to EventON > enable Remove schema data from calendar and Remove JSON-LD data for events > Everywhere except single event pages.

    Thank you for your response.

    Excluding all but the single events page doesn’t resolve the issue. The structured data still shows an error because the description is too long. I would like the schema to use an excerpt of the description instead of the full content.

    How can I achieve this?
