Thank you bdbrown. I have tried the suggestions on the link. But it doesn’t work on category pages. Is there an SEO that solve this problem?

If you’re not currently using an SEO plugin you might look at All In One SEO or Yoast SEO.

You are correct in advising All in One SEO. I have now installed the All in one SEO Pro. It caters for it. I was previously using Yoast SEO which fails woefully on this all important google requirement.

I guess the free version of the All in one SEO may equally resolve the problem.

The problem still remains. These errors relate to home and category pages.

I have tried most of the suggestions. As for the plugin, it appears it is designed for one author blog. I am beginning to think this problem has more to do with WordPress design requirement rather than the theme itself. Personally, I cannot see why any page/category should not have an author or when updated.
