Structured data, hatom errors

    Hi,

    I am using Edin theme and it is updated, with ver 1.3.3.

    I’ve been looking into the Google Search Cosole, and I have found, in the Browser appearence, structured data menu, some errors witch make reference to hatom, microformats.com markup.

    These errors affect only to pages, not posts, and only those created later, being the older published on august 2017.

    The error complains about missing “author”, “entry-title” and “updated”.

    I’ve been googling for a while and have found several references to being a problem with the theme, and fixes either modify some phps or the theme, what I would rather avoid.

    I’d appretiate any help.

    Hi Domingo, short of creating a Child Theme and then adding the necessary code to the relevant files, there isn’t a way to bring the pages up to Google’s wishes. You would not want to modify the actual Edin theme files since those files could be overwritten by future theme updates and then you would have to go back in and modify them again.
