• Hi,
    I wonder why do you give only these 4 options when one tries to apply a rating to a page with your plugin:

    PRODCUT
    PLACE
    RECEIPT
    BLOG POSTING?

    I mean there are so many more Structured Data categories, and one of the most evident to add would be:

    REVIEW

    Any reason you can not add this?

    Thanks,
    Merik

    Hi Merik, thank you for using Yasr!

    IF, in the settings, to the question
    Which rich snippet do you want to use?
    you select
    Review Rating
    all the post or page are review indeed ??

    That is simply WHAT you’re reviewing.

    E.g. from a site of mine using Place (localbusiness) and overall rating

    @type	LocalBusiness
    name	Ruins Pub

    review
    	@type	Review
    	name	Ruins Pub
            datePublished	  2014-03-24T14:34:37+02:00

    author
        @type	Person
        name        Dario Curvino

    reviewRating
    	@type  Rating
    	ratingValue  3.7

    Hope this help

    Best,
    Dario

    Sorry if unclear. I mean item types for post or pages.

    why only 4 item types?

    (@dudo)

    Yes, that are item for post or page.

    For now I think that 4 items types cover a great range of service:

    What are you review?

    A Place? (resturant, bar, etc) select “place”
    A product? (can be everything, from a monitor to a beer, from a fridge to a car) select “product”
    A recipe? select “recipe”.

    For everything else, select “blogposting”

    I think these 4 item types cover a great range of stuff.
    Hovewer, I’ve already in my todo list to add some new one.

    That is exactly my problem, that if I select “Product” then Google Search Console will keep reporting missing items as I supposed to add “SKU” and “Identifier Type” and other funny data that I do not have for what I review. I review online casinos, one example:

    https://www.magyar-online-kaszinok.com/energycasino-online-kaszino-informaciok-velemenyek/

    If I chose aggregate rating do I have more options?

    Many thanks for your care

    You’re using overall rating value so “review rating” is correct

    Seems like blogPosting is perfect

    https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/?hl=it#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.magyar-online-kaszinok.com%2Fenergycasino-online-kaszino-informaciok-velemenyek%2F

    You can use product, too. Even if you’ve warning/errors (I’m working to fix them) stars will be indexed.

    If I can, in your site, I suggest to use blogPosting, since is not a “physical” product

    Hi dudo,

    yes it is okay, but interestingly the stars do not show in search results. Whereas previously, when the page was set “products” the stars were showing in Google. Just I kept seeing the warnings in Search Console.

    Have a look at this Google search result, and organic nr.2 you will see the previous page I sent you and there are are no rich results (stars) shown by Google:

    https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&biw=1536&bih=728&ei=Cd0pXcH0AtHXgQbzsKXgBA&q=energycasino+v%C3%A9lem%C3%A9nyek&oq=energycasino+v%C3%A9lem%C3%A9nyek&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i19.559523.559523..559820…0.0..0.250.250.2-1……0….2j1..gws-wiz…….0i71.C8MHSMGxe1Q

    But maybe this is linked to the fact that I have enabled the WP SEO Structured Data Schema plugin in addition to yours and maybe the clash between the two makes the rich results disappear in the result.

    I have kept one review page set as “product” in your widget:
    https://www.magyar-online-kaszinok.com/bet365-alternativ-link/
    and it keeps getting the warnings in Search Console. But even there the stars disappeared
    when the site pops up in Google results.

    Absurdly though there is one exception, YASR stars DO show when I do a general search for the website’s pages:

    site:https://www.magyar-online-kaszinok.com

    I am really confused why in normal Google search results your stars do NOT show up, whereas in the “site:” search they do!?

    I think it’s just matter of time, hovewer, I suggest to ask in a seo related forum
