Structured data bug?

  • Hi fellow folks,

    I hope anyone can help me with some possible bug I discovered within the free version of Yoast SEO.
    The free version gives me all I need, so that is why I do not need the premium version.

    If I run a test with Google’s structured data testing tool (https://developers.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/) it gives errors for itemprops as blogposting and article. It fails to recognize a blogpost’s image and it will also target it as article, which it is not. So I will get a og:type=article, while it is not.
    But the itemprop for image is provided (and correctly as far as I can tell). Problem does not appear on regular webpages or shop pages.

    Anyone else has this same issue and any idea how to fix this?

    I have not made any changes to the core of the plugin.
