Structured Blogging Plugin

This is more curiosity that anything else.

I downloaded and tried out the Structured Blogging plugin and played around with it a bit. I really like it (with the exception of the missing “product review” format). But, it seems to have been created prior to the changes to the terms/taxonomy category and tag layouts. Every SB post I make starts out with no category and no tags. I can “fix” it after its added using a couple other plugins, but that’s a bit cumbersome.

I’ve looked at the code, but I’m not all that comfortable about making the changes (or, for that matter, even sure if I’m looking at the right place). I bet with a lot of extra time I could *eventually* get it straightened out, but I can’t be 10% sure.

Is there anyone out there who has already tackled fixing this plugin? It seems the project has been abandoned by the authors, and I can’t find a way to contact them.

So, I’m wondering – anyone else using the Structured Blogging plugin?
