Structured Blogging in WordPress 2.1 Problems?

I have been building a site using WordPress 2.1 with a MAMP server on my macbok. When I activate the structured blogging plugin (structuredblogging-wp-1.0pre17), I get all the format buttons in my “write” section under wp-admin, but when I click on one of them, I get a totally blank page. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

I am new to wordpress, so I apologize if this is obvious to everyone but me.
