structure tag issue

  • Hi. I’d like for my permalink structure for the archives to be something like 2005/feb/10 as opposed to 2005/02/10. Is this possible? I’ve found a %monthnum% variable in the options-permalink.php file. Should i change %monthnum% to something else? Or do i need to change date('m') in the following line to something else?

  • I guess so (but I’m not sure), but you loose the dynamics for the permalink, and the word you would use would appear in every permalink on your site.

    But you can try it out for yourself. It won’t damage your site if you do. If it doesn’t work, just change it back.

    I’ve tried using %month% and date('M') to no avail…
