• hey Joel;
    LLFC appears to be stripping HTML-tags from WordPress’ native comments; I just spent the odd hour trying to nail down what caused those to disappear on my prototype + I’m sorry to inform you that once I disabled Lazy Load For Comments, they operated normally again.

    My suggestion would be, if there is indeed a tags-stripper at work somewhere in there, to make that a switchable option + indicate clearly when it is engaged, also on the frontend (maybe that, too, configurable). It was a bit of a bummer to figure out what affected my site that way. ??

    ftm, I have to deactivate your otherwise very fine plugin on my project :/
    Looking forward to whatever feedback this may yield, if any;
    hth – cheers – lx

  • I also had to delete the plugin for stripping a custom HTML hook just above the comments. Hope the author resolves this.

    @joelcj91 is this under consideration? Tried the plugin and uninstalled again because it is blocking my hooks made to target the comments box.

    Hey @politicske & @elexem,

    Sorry for the delay. LLC is not modifying the output of the comments in any way. But I will investigate this and update you.

    Please do. I have over 6 hooks targeting the comments box and this plugin strips all of them! The theme in use is GP Premium which comes with inbuilt elements module.

    Tried the recent update and the plugin is not stripping my code as before. Good work @joelcj91. Will keep monitoring.
