Striping Category base doesn’t remove it from sitemap

    Hi,

    We’ve decided to strip the category base using Yoast. It works fine but it seems as /category/ still showing in category-sitemap.xml.

    P.S – It works as expected on my localhost.

    any direction?

    so it seems that only if you disable (and save) the strip category option and re-enable it the sitemap is refreshed correctly…

    This is to be expected as the sitemap loads from transient caches. So, the transient caches need to be removed by resaving the sitemap to ensure you can see the relevant changes.
