    Hello team,

Hope you are doing well !

I am facing a popup issue with the Stripe payment gateway. When clicking on the ‘Place Order’ button with a Stripe test account, a popup should appear and automatically disappear. However, this popup is confusing for the customer. Can you please guide me on how to fix this? I have attached a screenshot for your reference, which you can access from here.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @chintan1896,

    Thank you for reaching out!

I am facing a popup issue with the Stripe payment gateway. When clicking on the ‘Place Order’ button with a Stripe test account, a popup should appear and automatically disappear.

This window is for the OTP verification, which is necessary for certain banks/cards.

To clarify, which specific test card are you using when experiencing this behavior?

Additionally, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status report? You can find it through WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after scrolling down a bit). Once obtained, please paste it here in your reply or via a text-sharing service like https://gist.github.com/.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello @babylon1999,

I have checked with Visa (4242424242424242) and Mastercard (5555555555554444) testing cards. I have attached the system report, which you can access from here.

    Thanks!

    Hey, @chintan1896!

Thank you for sharing the report.

I see you have outdated versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and Stripe.

We recommend keeping everything updated. Regularly updating plugins and the theme helps maintain your site’s security, performance, and compatibility while ensuring you benefit from the latest features and improvements.

Please update those and any other plugin to the latest version and check if the issue persists.

Just to confirm, your website is on test mode, correct? Can we make a purchase using one of the test cards you mentioned to check it from our end?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi @carolm29,

You can check with the test order; currently, the website is in test mode.

    Thanks!

    Hello @chintan1896,

Could you please confirm if you were able to update your outdated versions to the latest updates?

I was able to make a test purchase and could indeed see the blank white pop-up appear.

Just curious, could you please try performing a conflict test by switching to a default theme like Storefront and letting us know how it behaves on checkout? This will help us understand what exactly could be the issue, as I was unable to replicate the same from my test site.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello @ckadenge,

It’s facing an issue due to 3D security. However, I have tried with another account, and this issue is now resolved.

    Thanks!

    Hi Chintan,

Great to hear that the issue is resolved with the alternate account!

I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as solved. If you have a moment, we would really appreciate it if you could share your experience by leaving us a review here: WooCommerce Reviews.
