Stripe Too Basic

    Hi,
    I have integrated with Stripe but honestly it’s not what I expected. I understand it won’t be as flexible as programing it myself but I really can’t do much:
    – No Russian language, even though Stripe supports russian
    – Only payment method is credit card (no google pay, apple pay or any other supported payments from stripe)
    – I can’t translate the placeholder text
    – No subscriptions
    – What am I paying for? (it’s not possible to link this payment to a product of stripe
    – Stripe is not saving the data of the customer (name, email) even if it’s set in forminator: https://ibb.co/wg88TNy https://ibb.co/kggCX28
    – I don’t want to save the ip address of the buyer, for compliance and so on.. but I can’t seem to be able to disable it

    Any way I can fix any of those issues?

    Can you let us know which placeholder you are looking to translate?

    By this, you do you mean the Card Number placeholder?

    Those texts are from the API, usually not allowed to translate plugin side, but we can check with the plugin developer as soon you confirm it.

    – Only payment method is credit card (no google pay, apple pay or any other supported payments from stripe)

    We do have plans for this, but it is not a strong request and I am afraid we can’t give an estimated time to release it.

    I am adding this ticket as an extra request.

    The plugin won’t add the user as a customer in Stripe, however, we do have plans to extend it.

    Can you go to Forminator > Settings > Submissions, you can control the IP retention.

    I would like to update you that we tasked it to our developers to add the language support in the future.

    I am afraid we can’t give an estimated time for this, however, keep eyes on the plugin updates and changelogs.
