    This is for all who follow in my footsteps I have been 3 days googling this subject, and I have only got a definitive answer from the paymentplugin support.

    Here is Stripe’s documentation on the supported customer object: https://stripe.com/docs/api/customers/object

    There is no way of syncing a VAT number from woocommerce checkout to stripe customer data so it appears in Tax ID section in 2024. This means its a pain to sync accountancy app with stripe because you manually have to enter VAT numbers in backend of accounting app for each customer
