That’s pretty odd!

So are you saying that the problem you have almost with all types of cards, is that when you’re running on the live mode or testing mode?

I would strongly suggest you to run through the Setup and Configuration carefully.

And then you can try to switch to testing mode first, before going live, and make some test orders with Stripe test cards. If the test mode is okay, feel free to test orders on live mode say with $1 priced products.

Also, if you’re still facing the issue. You can try a full conflict test, here is the guide to do that: How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts

Thank you @solstudioim I have taken your step in consideration and re-checked everything, but it seems to be good installed.

I have done some real payments myself and they all go correctly through. The only difference is, is that my payment method is from a different country than from the customers (France). The problem seems to be only with debit cards, but from both Visa and Mastercard providers. Belgian payment method Bancontact is not showing this problem.

One customer could share with me the error they see after they have completed their payment details:

@demian85 Thanks for that info! Here’s what I would try next:

First, do a conflict test by following this process.

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront.
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Stripe.
• Put Stripe in test mode: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#test-mode
• Place a test order using a French card from here: https://stripe.com/docs/testing#international-cards

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

If you *are* seeing the same issue using the French test card, then check the Stripe logs under WooCommerce > Status > Logs to see if there’s anything there.

I have done a test payment with a French test card as per suggestion, and in the exact same environment (without disabling anything), but the test is going through without any problems.

It seems to be with live users with debit/credit cards only.

So is this the stage I need to file a ticket?

Wanted to let you know that I haven’t heard anything from Woocommerce so far (3 weeks). I have changed to the other Stripe supported plugin, because this is not okay for a shop. And all the card payments are successfully taken with this plugin. I think there is something wrong, I also noticed some more tickets after me with similar problems. I hope you will get this fixed.
