Stripe recurring invoice email not sending?

Rolled out our payment system using PMPro. Great work! I swear by this plugin now ??

However, now that we are entering the third billing cycle, it has become clear that email notifications about monthly invoices are not being sent? Is this a known thing? I looked everywhere it seems to be an isolated case…

Either way, perhaps someone has an answer here? Recurring payments are still working. I see them in Stripe and in the Orders screen?
